[按]聂危谷实验水墨展子2001年11月28日至12月7日在南京博物院现代艺术馆举办。这是画家在大学毕业20年.从事实验水墨10多年来首次在居住地之外举办个人画展。 参加28日开幕式的有宁、扬两地的美木工作者、美术院校学生.新闻记者等各界人士200多人。出席当天座淡会的有江苏画坛和美术批评界知名人士。座谈会由批评家顾丞峰主持。 聂危谷于上世纪70年代末开始尝试现代绘画语言,80年代末从事实验水墨创作,90年代创作的《凡高系列》经《江苏画刊》推介,在国内画坛有一定反响。此后聂危谷埋首读书,长期默默耕耘而不求闻达。出于自我人格拷问和终极意义追问的内在需求。他以水墨媒材的自由宣泄,以人物(从英雄转向大众)等媒体图像为符号的理性构成与反理性表现。逐步确立对当代文化危机、个人心灵冲突以及对理想主义关怀进行视觉阐释的悲剧性抽象风格(参见聂危谷《一个理想主义者的自白》)。
