因为拥有大山，就拥有森林，也就有了以采伐木材为生、以山相依为命的林业工人。黑龙江森工总局施业区主要分布在大、小兴安岭和长白山脉，是东北地区陆地生态系统主体，既是区内６大水系的发源地和涵养地，又是松嫩平原、三江平原粮食基地和呼伦贝尔大草原牧业基地的天然屏障。 如今，半个世纪过去了，当初以 亮的伐木号子震荡在山林间引为骄傲的时代一去不复返，森工总局面临着最为严重的危困境地。
