中国的京剧,融合歌唱、舞蹈、朗颂、武术于一台,使听众得以同时获取多方面的艺术享受。中国的文人画,合并书法、绘画、诗文、印章于尺素之间,令观者在一幅作品上受到多种审美的教养。这两种艺术均为中国所独有或首创,都是人类文化遗产中的奇葩。 京剧演员固然都需有全面的艺能,但对于唱、念、做、打样样皆精的演员历来都是凤毛麟角。同样,书、画、文、印四项皆精的艺术家也仍然是寥若晨星。 郑板桥人称诗、书、画三绝,且擅治印;可惜传下来的印章甚少。所幸二十世纪以来出现了吴昌硕、齐白石、潘天寿等数位大师。不但四艺皆精,且各具风格自成流派。不过,要继承和发展他们的成果却绝非易事;这不仅需要才气,还需要有远大的文化目光和毅力恒心。 因此,张治安作为中年的艺术家,在书、画、文、印四方面都具备相当的修养,是难能可贵的。中华传统文化的精粹,后继有人。
