申园位于唐山古冶区电业局家属院之南,洋洋大酒殿西侧。全园南北宽90m,东西长108m,占地近十五亩,平面近似菱形,地形南低北高,相差3.45m(图1)。建筑依坡地坐北朝南布置,建筑面积1800m2,是一座集居住与园林于一体的庭院建筑。主要建筑有:门殿、垂花门、正房、东西配房、客厅、水榭、各式亭子及游廊等。
