目的了解兵蚁比例与群体数量对台湾乳白蚁和黑胸散白蚁取食量的影响。方法用马尾松分别饲养不同兵蚁比例和群体数量的台湾乳白蚁和黑胸散白蚁,1个月后取出松木块并称重,计算白蚁取食松木块的重量。结果群体数量相同的条件下台湾乳白蚁在兵蚁比例为2%时个体日取食量最大,为(0.139 5±0.007 4)mg,显著大于兵蚁比例为8%(0.084 5±0.008 7)mg和10%(0.081 8±0.006 0)mg时的个体日取食量。不同兵蚁比例的黑胸散白蚁个体日取食量并无显著差异。兵蚁比例为4%,群体数量分别为25、50、100、150和200只的两种白蚁群体中,台湾乳白蚁个体日取食量分别为0.180 7、0.112 2、0.110 1、0.092 4和0.082 5 mg,黑胸散白蚁个体日取食量分别为0.169 2、0.111 5、0.094 0、0.077 3和0.074 7 mg。结论台湾乳白蚁和黑胸散白蚁在兵蚁比例保持不变、群体数量逐渐增加的情况下,个体日取食量均呈下降趋势,且台湾乳白蚁个体日取食量在一定程度上大于对应群体数量的黑胸散白蚁,并在群体数量为150只时,台湾乳白蚁个体日取食量显著大于黑胸散白蚁个体日取食量。
Objective To understand the influence of the proportion and population of soldier ants on the feeding amount of termites and termites in Taiwan. Methods The white termites and black-throats termites of different populations and termites of different termites were reared in Masson pine. The pine blocks were removed and weighed after one month, and the weight of the termites fed on the pine blocks was calculated. The results showed that when the number of soldiers was 2%, the average daily food intake was 0.139 5 ± 0.007 4 mg, which was significantly higher than that of the soldiers (8%, 0.084 5 ± 0.008 7) mg and 10% (0.081 8 ± 0.006 0) mg daily intake of individuals. There was no significant difference in the daily intake of black termites among different termites. In the two termite populations with 4% of soldiers and 25%, 50%, 100% and 150% of the population, the daily feed intake of A. termitis were 0.180 7,0.112 2,0.110 1, 0,092 4 and 0.082 5 mg. The daily feed intake of black termites were 0.169, 2.0115, 0.09400, 0.0773 and 0.074 7 mg respectively. Conclusion The population of T. termitis and T. cantonensis keeps decreasing while the proportion of soldiers and flies remains constant, and the population of T. australis and T. australis each month keeps decreasing. The daily intake of individuals of A. termitis in Taiwan is greater than the corresponding Population of black thorax termite termites, and in the population of 150, the individual daily feeding amount of termites in Taiwan was significantly greater than black thompson termite individual daily feed intake.
