西方激进左派在建构上的无力广受诟病。但德勒兹以自己的“先验的经验主义”方法论为批判中心的建构找到了可能性。他和经典的经验主义者的区别在于,后者认为知识来自于感觉经验,而前者不仅仅关心纯粹的经验世界,还更关注感性经验本身的先验条件,即所谓“先验的感觉”。这一关注所体现的是他对经典经验主义的经验概念的批判,目的是为了解决经验如何被确定的问题。因为只有在这个基础上,德勒兹才能解决现代性批判的主体碎片化问题,进而真正关注他的核心问题:创新和自由。使解放成为可能的新的主体性也由此而生发。
