阳光下的辛苦劳作斯里兰卡是世界上主要的红茶生产国之一,素有“红茶之国”的美称。有人说,其国土形状看上去就像是一滴茶水。斯里兰卡种植茶叶取得进展始于1867年,由英国人从印度引种。19世纪70年代斯里兰卡几乎所有的咖啡园遭遇病害的毁灭性打击后,茶叶种植取而代之,并迅速推广。2008年,斯里兰卡超越肯尼亚成为世界上居第二位的茶叶生产国,年产茶叶3.3亿公斤,主要出口俄罗斯和中东,其红茶在国际上的品牌为“锡兰茶”(Ceylon Tea),享有高溢价,拍卖价格比竞争对手印度茶叶高50%以上。
Sunshine work hard Sri Lanka is one of the world’s major producers of black tea, known as “black tea country ” reputation. Some people say that its land shape looks like a drop of tea. Progress in planting tea in Sri Lanka started in 1867 and was introduced from India by the British. Tea plantations were replaced and rapidly popularized after the devastating blow to disease in almost all of the coffee gardens in Sri Lanka in the 1870s. In 2008, Sri Lanka overtook Kenya to become the second tea producer in the world with an annual output of 330 million kilograms of tea, mainly exported to Russia and the Middle East. Its black tea is internationally recognized as “Ceylon Tea” , Enjoy a premium, auction prices more than rival India tea more than 50%.
