盐池县位于宁夏回族自治区南部山区中部干旱带,与陕西、内蒙古交界,南靠黄土高原,北界毛乌素沙漠,属中温带干旱区,气候特点是干旱少雨、风大沙多、无霜期短。年均降雨量273.5mm。全县耕地面积8.7万hm~2,包括水浇地1.6万hm~2。其中引黄灌溉1.3万hm~2,井灌0.3万hm~2,水资源十分贫乏。但光热资源丰富,年日照时数2892h,有效积温2945℃,年均温度8.3℃。而且昼夜温差大,利于西瓜糖分的积累。2005年我们引进西瓜杂交种进行制种试验,种子平均产量375kg/hm~2。西瓜杂交制种中,保纯去杂工作尤为重要,现总结出各生育期的关键技术环节,以供参考。
Yanchi County is located in the arid zone in the central mountainous area of southern Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Its climate is characterized by arid precipitation, short winds, and short frost-free period. The average annual rainfall of 273.5mm. County area of 87,000 hm 2 arable land, including irrigated land 16,000 hm ~ 2. Among them, the Yellow River irrigated 13,000 hm ~ 2 and the well irrigated up to 3,000 hm ~ 2, and the water resource is very poor. However, abundant light and heat resources, the annual sunshine hours 2892h, effective accumulated temperature 2945 ℃, the average annual temperature of 8.3 ℃. And large temperature difference between day and night, which will help the accumulation of watermelon sugar. In 2005 we introduced watermelon hybrid seed production test, the average seed yield 375kg / hm ~ 2.
