1 Introduction If a hearing aid can perform well in a complex listening environment, the hearing aid user’s satisfaction increases significantly. 77% of experienced users want volume control (VC) on hearing aids, although they are rarely used. 72% of U.S. users and 65% of German users want their hearing aids to be “easy to operate.”
