儿童占我国人口的三分之一,是祖国的未来和希望。儿童保健工作是培养德智体全面发展的一代新人的一个重要方面,也是人民卫生事业的一个重要组成部分。为了进一步推动城乡儿童保健工作的开展,争取在二○○○年时,实现每个儿童都享有卫生保健,把婴儿死亡率下降到千分之二十五以下的奋斗目标,特提出七·五期间开展儿童保健工作的要求,争取在这个期间内,全国有三分之一的城市和农村能达到甲类标准。
Children, which constitute one third of our population, are the future and hope of the motherland. Child health care work is an important aspect of cultivating a new generation of all-round development of morality, intelligence and body. It is also an important part of people’s health undertaking. In order to further promote child health care in urban and rural areas and strive for the goal of every child being entitled to health care and reducing the infant mortality rate to below 25 per cent by the year 2000, During this period, one third of cities and rural areas across the country can meet Class A standards.
