闭理书,龙州县金龙乡人。1976年应征从军,退伍后回家务农,1982年考取广西艺术学院美术师范专业(选修中国画);1986年毕业并留校任教,曾任院党委宣传部副部长、学生处副处长、美术师范系党总支书记、副教授。2005年调任广西师范学院艺术系主任,并创建书法教育专业,填补广西书法教师教育空白。撰写并出版数本著作和教材,其中有大学生书法基础系列丛书《书法史概论》《楷书技法》《行书技法》,主编广西九年义务教育小学初中教材《写字》、全国普通高等学校公共艺术课程通用教材《书法欣赏》等。
