建宁中学是江苏省唯一一所教育和保护有不良行为、严重不良行为未成年学生的专门学校。这里的孩子在成长过程中遇到了学习、心理上的双重困难,然而,在这里他们找到了属于自己的未来。针对这些特别的教育对象,建宁中学坚守工读教育根本,秉承工读教育传统,直面这样一个问题:怎样的教育才是切合学生成长需要的教育?近年来,学校创造性地构建课程体系,对课堂模式进行革新,秉持“时时是课堂,处处是教室,事事皆课程”的课程理念,遵循课程活动化与活动课程化的课改思路,从“工作室课程群”入手对课程设置进行分析、对学生成长需求进行评估,对学校课程进行规划重构,努力构建并践行“适合天性,涵养德性,发展个性”的开放式校本课程体系。
