专业英语教学是大学英语学习四年不断线的保证,也是提高21世纪大学生专业英语水平的关键。民办高校的学生基础薄弱,学习兴趣缺乏,基础英语不扎实的前提下专业英语的学习更是难上加难,教学效果不明显。本文针对民办高校环境工程专业英语教学存在的问题,结合本专业的实际教学情况,对课程的教学内容、方法和手段做了一些改革和尝试,提出了一些新方法和新思路。
Professional English teaching is a guarantee of continuous learning of college English for four years and is also the key to improving the professional English of college students in the 21st century. The foundation of students in private colleges and universities is weak, the lack of interest in learning, under the premise of non-foundation English is more difficult to learn professional English, teaching is not obvious. In this paper, according to the existing problems of environmental engineering specialty English teaching in private universities and colleges, combined with the actual teaching conditions of the major, some reforms and attempts are made to the teaching contents, methods and means of the courses, and some new methods and new ideas are put forward.
