The main content of George Mu’nan’s translation theory is to explore the feasibility of translation. He believes that translation is possible, but there may be some limits to this, which are evolving. Guided by George Mu’nan’s translation feasibility limit theory, we can discuss the superiority of mother tongue in the process of translation from the perspective of mother tongue as the target language and the source language.
