广东省副省长刘志庚在2014中国(深圳)IT领袖峰会上表示,广东将大力推进光纤入户、三网融合和无线城市的建设,构建物联网、云计算、大数据挖掘、超级计算中心四大应用创新平台。刘志庚表示,近年来广东省的信息基础设施不断完善,信息产业持续快速发展,信息化的应用不断深入。新兴信息技术和现代金融业业态发展迅猛,涌现出一批竞争力较强的创新型的IT企业,成为全国重要的信息产业基地。

The emerging information technology and modern financial industry have witnessed rapid development. A group of highly competitive and innovative IT enterprises have emerged and become important national information industry bases.
