自80年代第一台IBM PC机进入我国以来,如今,各种PC、286/386/486机在国内的装机量已达百万余台。时至今日,绝大多数的PC机用户所使用的操作系统(OS)为PC—DOS或MS—DOS。 由于我国文化和文字所具有的特殊性,在这样的计算机和操作系统下,中国文字的处理,一时成为一个急需解决的课题。于是我国计算机科学所特有的一个分支——中文信息处理成为一项热门技术,由此应运而生的以中文处理为主要项目和产品的公司也层出不穷,各种档次基于DOS的中文系统(有的称中文DOS)、汉字环境、中文软件等等也不断出现,以满足我国PC机
Since the first IBM PC entered the country in the 1980s, the installed capacity of various PC and 286/386/486 machines in China has reached over 1 million units.
