目前,天津地区的几大网络均为独立的系统,各自都有通往Internet的国际通道,由于它们之间互不相连,相互间的信息交换都是通过国外的Internet交换中心进行,这样就大大增加了各个网络国际出口的压力。由于国际出口线路速率较低,再加上各网络间相互交换的国内通信量,使得整个网络的信息传输速度减慢,性能急剧下降,对于一些要求通信速率较高的应用来说,已无法正常工作。因此,从网络发展的角度出发,必须尽早解决这种不合理的问题。
