在导演艺术上,吴永刚一辈子孜孜不倦地探索尝试,形成他自己独特的素描风格。他常说:“艺贵真实,创作常规;运用之妙,不拘一格。”他也常常把电影事业的发展比作荆棘丛生、泥泞的沼泽地。而他自喻为一块供人垫脚的石子。他说,日子一久,路被人走了出来。而石子虽被湮没,但终究起了垫脚的作用。从羊肠小路到康庄大道,事物就是这样发展、前进的。甘当普通的奠基石,这样的艺术家在人民的电影史上是永远不会被湮没的。
In the director’s art, Wu Yonggang tirelessly explored all his life to form his own unique sketch style. He often said: “He is often used to the film industry’s development as a thorny, muddy swamp.” And he himself has been a piece of stone for man’s feet. He said that over time, the road was walked out. Although the stone was obliterated, but eventually played a stepping-footed role. From the intertwined path to Hong Chong Avenue, things are such developments and advances. When willing to be a cornerstone of the ordinary, such an artist can never be obliterated in the movie history of the people.
