Worm infection can cause elevated IgE and IgG4. Schistosomiasis Immuno-epidemiological studies have shown that schistosome infections and re-infections are age-related and that children are more susceptible or re-infected than adults. Due to the different expression of anti-schistosome homozygotes (IgE and IgG4) in different age groups, the intensity of re-infection can be predicted based on the balance between IgE and IgG4. The purpose of this study was to elucidate how they affect the immune response of isotype antibodies in the absence of Schistosoma japonicum in the human body. Thirty-seven cases of schistosomiasis japonica were selected after 2 years of praziquantel chemotherapy (20 in the re-infected group and 17 in the non-re-infected group).
