为了提高应用层组播对流媒体数据传输的性能,提出了基于分层结构的流媒体应用层组播协议。协议中利用分层拓扑结构来组织和管理应用层组播网络中的节点,在此基础上构建满足流媒体数据传输对延迟、带宽要求的组播路径。模拟实验表明:协议能提供满足流媒体传输要求的组播路径、延迟,与当前流行的应用层组播协议相比,其连接节点数更少,具有更高的带宽输出能力。
In order to improve the performance of application layer multicast streaming data transmission, a streaming media application layer multicast protocol based on layered structure is proposed. The protocol uses a hierarchical topology to organize and manage the nodes in the application layer multicast network. Based on this, a multicast path that satisfies the delay and bandwidth requirements of streaming media data transmission is constructed. The simulation results show that the protocol can provide the multicast path and delay which meet the requirements of streaming media transmission. Compared with the current popular application layer multicast protocols, the protocol has fewer connected nodes and higher bandwidth output capability.
