After more than two years of preparatory work, on October 11, 2015, Xiamen Rare Earth Materials Institute construction project officially started in Jimei, Xiamen. Xiamen Rare Earth Materials Institute of the total investment of 4.3 billion construction projects, construction area of 110,000 square meters, with a total area of 97 acres, is expected to be completed by the end of 2017 and put into use.
