在世人心中,孔子圣人的形象早已根深蒂固。孔子并不是圣,他只是一个怀揣着恢复周礼制度,推行仁者爱人的在晚年渴望落叶归根的行者,四处游说,各国讲学,最主要的目的就是推行“仁”。当然,也存在以下几种关于孔子思想核心的说法,孔子思想体系的核心是礼,把孔子的学说概括为“礼学”。一般说来,凡是肯定孔子积极作用较多的,都主张仁是孔子思想体系的核心,而对孔子否定较多的,则多强调礼是他思想体系的核心。
