1962—1964年作者就梨树萌芽率和成枝力变化在本校芭茅(土夌)果园作了初步观察。供试品种主要是博多青和今村秋,其余的品种如表1所列。所有品种均系1956年秋定植。每亩种27株。土壤为红色粘土母质发育成的红壤,坡度为3°—5°。果园进行轮栽间作:春播花生、瓜类、或扦插红茹,秋种冬季绿肥—肥田萝卜。各施基肥,每亩猪粪27—54担,垃圾、草皮等108担,塘泥108担,过磷酸钙81斤或钙镁磷135斤,但少追肥。其它均按一般方法进行管理。供试植株生长健壮,八年生博多青树高4.2米、冠幅3.9米,株产50—120斤;今村秋树高4.0米、冠幅4.3米,株产40—110斤。现将初步观察结果简述如下。 一、种类和品种间萌芽率和成枝力的差异 观察的18个品种中有西洋梨4个,日本梨9个,南方梨4个,华北梨1个。如表1可见,西洋梨萌芽率和成枝力较强,次为日本梨中生长势较强的品种;产于我国南方的砂梨
