The cradle of civilization is dark, and we, together with our friends in Mali, enjoy the cool breeze on the balcony of Segu town’s guest house. Endless grass, covered with large lush mango forest, shade thick. Ocher-colored buildings, Starbucks. Flaming tree flowers are Sheng, Blossoming safflower indeed like the flame of the move. Segu is 240 kilometers northeast of Bamako, the capital of Mali, with a population of 35,000. Mali is the second largest city. Located on the banks of the Niger River, it is a fertile land of fish and rice and a trading center for agricultural, livestock and fishery products.
