在举国欢腾,万民同庆北京申办2008年奥运会获得成功之际,7月16日晚港岛北角新光戏院歌声嘹亮,热闹非凡。中远香港集团在此举办了庆祝香港回归四周年,祝贺北京申办2008年奥运会成功以及迎接中远香港集团成立七周年盛大歌咏晚会。当日飞抵香港检查工作的中远集团总公司党组书记王云茂,党组办公室主任林戟,人事部副总经理陈大成等领导出席了晚会。
At a time when the whole country jubilated and all the people celebrated the success of Beijing’s bid for hosting the 2008 Olympic Games, the song of the Xinguang Theater in North Point, Hong Kong Island, on the evening of 16 July was loud and entertaining. COSCO Hong Kong Group held a grand gala to celebrate the fourth anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to China, congratulate Beijing on its bid to host the 2008 Olympic Games and greet the seventh anniversary of Hong Kong’s founding of COSCO Group. Chairman Wang Yunmao, party secretary of COSCO headquarters arrived at the inspection work in Hong Kong on the same day; Lin Jhi, director of the party office and Chen Dacheng, deputy general manager of the personnel department, attended the party.
