贫困问题是当世界面临的重大挑战之一,减少和消除贫困已成为国际社会和发展中国家的主要战略目标。老挝改革开放来经济发展迅速,但老挝贫困现状依然严峻,老挝的大规模减贫是在一系列政治、经济和制度因素的共同作用下取得的。老挝仍然面临长期的反贫困任务,需要进一步调整发展战略、扶贫体制和政策以适应变化的环境。以保证在未来取得更大的反贫困成就。
The issue of poverty is one of the major challenges the world faces. Reducing and eradicating poverty has become the major strategic objective of the international community and developing countries. With the rapid economic development in Laos since the reform and opening up, the poverty situation in Laos is still grim. The massive poverty reduction in Laos has been achieved through a series of political, economic and institutional factors. Laos still faces long-term anti-poverty tasks and needs further readjustment of its development strategy, poverty alleviation system and policies to adapt to a changing environment. In order to ensure greater achievements in anti-poverty in the future.
