马克思曾经把科学看成是“最高意义上的革命力量”,指出“社会的劳动生产力首先是科学的力量”。科学技术日益成为现代生产力中最活跃的因素和最主要的支撑力量,邓小平同志关于“科学技术是第一生产力”的学说是对马克思主义关于生产力学说的丰富和发展,揭示了科技发展对当代社会经济发展的第一位变革作用,对指导我国的社会主义现代化建设具有十分紧迫而深远的意义。
