Ⅰ康潑來宗的簡單介紹康潑來宗是指一系列屬於亞氨基多(羧)酸型的水溶性强力螯合劑而言。1904年Ley即發見氨基乙酸和銅的螯合作用形成和Cu(NH_3)_4~(++)相似而比較更安定的螯合物其他氨基酸例如β-氨基丙酸,γ-氨基丁酸等都能生成類似的螯合物,但是它們的安定度稍差——γ-氨基丁酸銅極易水解,β-氨基丙酸銅在稀溶液中亦頗易起水解,氨基乙酸則雖在沸水中亦頗安定。氨基丙二酸亦是一個螯合劑。
