迁西县位于河北省东北部,是燕山余脉延伸的半山区,属大陆性季风气候。年平均气温10～11℃,最高气温40℃,最低气温-25℃。年降水量650毫米,7～9月的降水量为全年的60％。当地盛产板栗,每当栗树花谢落,雨季来临时,在栗树底下到处可见灰白色、象卷心菜那么大的蘑菇,当地群众称“栗蘑”.我们于1984年进行了实地考察,采集的标本经鉴定为灰树花,学名Polyporus frondosus Dicks.ex.Fr.。现将观察和初步驯化栽培简况初报如下:
