民生档案是各级党委、政府和各有关部门、单位在保障民生、改善民生、服务民生工作中形成的历史记录,是维护群众利益的原始凭证,是党委、政府抓好民生工作的重要帮手,也是“人民群众最关心、最直接、最现实的利益问题”在档案工作中的集中体现。做好民生档案工作事关和谐社会建设大局。近年来,各级档案部门围绕服务民生认真做好民生档案的收集、整理和提供利用工作,使档案工作在新形势下呈现出新的亮点。我认为做好民生档案工作,必须建立五个体系:
The livelihood files are the historical records formed by party committees, governments and relevant departments and units at all levels in safeguarding people’s livelihood, improving livelihood, and serving the people’s livelihood. They are the original vouchers for safeguarding the interests of the masses and an important helper for the party committees and governments to do a good job in people’s livelihood. It is also a concentrated manifestation of the “most concern, most direct and most practical interest issue of the people” in archival work. To do a good job in people’s livelihood archives work is concerned with the overall situation of building a harmonious society. In recent years, the archival departments at all levels conscientiously do a good job in collecting, arranging, and using the people’s livelihood files around the service people’s livelihood so that the archival work presents a new bright spot under the new situation. I think to do a good job in people’s livelihood files, we must establish five systems:
