全面系统地回顾了中国铝箔工业的发展历程，概述了中国铝箔工业的现状，展望了中国铝箔工业的前景。中国铝箔厂的建设始于1932年，但批量生产商业铝箔却在1933年。1980年东北轻合金有限责任公司从德国阿申巴赫公司引进的中国首台现代化铝箔轧机（1200mm四辊不可逆式）投产，标志着中国铝箔工业进人了一个新的阶段。截止1998年底，中国铝箔行业共有79家企业，设计生产能力已达185Kt／a，居世界第二位，产量居世界第三位，有现代化的辊面宽度超过1000mm的四辊铝箔轧机45台，中国已脐身世界铝箔大国，但不是一个铝箔强国，仍是一个铝箔净进口国。铝箔的某些性能与生产的一些技术经济指标，与工业发达国家的相比，仍有一些差距。
Comprehensively and systematically reviewed the development of China’s aluminum foil industry, outlined the status of China’s aluminum foil industry, and looked forward to the prospects of China’s aluminum foil industry. The construction of China’s aluminum foil plant began in 1932, but the commercial production of aluminum foil was in 1933. 1980 Northeast Light Alloy Co., Ltd. China’s first modern aluminum foil rolling mill (1200mm four-roll irreversible) introduced from Ashenbach Company in Germany marked the start of a new phase in China’s aluminum foil industry. By the end of 1998, there were 79 enterprises in the aluminum foil industry in China with a design and production capacity of 185Kt / a, ranking the second in the world with the output ranking the third in the world with 45 sets of four-roll aluminum foil rolling mills with a roll width of more than 1000mm, China has become the world’s largest aluminum foil, but it is not an aluminum foil powerhouse. It is still a net importer of aluminum foil. Some of the performance of aluminum foil and the production of some technical and economic indicators, compared with industrialized countries, there are still some gaps.
