Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world with 13,000 islands spread over nearly 5.2 million square kilometers of land between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. Although the country is 21 times the size of the Federal Republic of Germany, the land area is only 38%. These unique geographical locations naturally lead to the central government facing a large number of management issues and organizational issues. The most complex issue facing Indonesia is the comprehensive energy development strategy.
