河北大厂回族自治县大厂人民公社馮蘭庄大队的社員們,欢天喜地的在南瓦房里忙碌着。当社員們听到幸福院設在这里的时候,他們都自动騰出了房子,招待員們把房子打扫得干干淨淨,門上掛了新門簾,雪白的房間四角貼上了紅喜字。他們把幸福院的房間,当成新房那样点綴。在这天,大队也派大車拉来大米、面粉、杂粮及其它应用物品,招待員們把幸福院里的每个房間的炕都燒得热呼呼的,等待着四十七位老人入院,診疗所的大夫們,兴致勃勃地帶着出診包等着为老人們作第一次健康檢查。
