海上一叶扁舟载着一位身穿和服的中年客人。他行李简单,引人注意的是一副棋盘,两盒棋子,一黑一白,显然这人是一位棋士。船向西行,在从日本到中国的海面上。客人端然正坐在舱里,他的心思已经到了中国。辽阔的大陆,无数的人口,围棋的故乡。在那里,他将要大显身手,要让人知道,从中国学去围棋的日本学生现在已经超过先生了。他在日本岛国上得不到的第一棋士地位,将在更广大的中国国土上得到。突然,一阵西风吹来,船猛烈颠簸了。随着波涛起伏,风越来越利害,眼见天昏水暗风雨大作。 “先生!不能再西行了。我们只好回航了。这是天不许你去中国,人是无法反抗的呀!”船家向舱内客
A boat in the sea carries a middle-aged guest wearing a kimono.
