在春光明媚、群芳争艳的五月,火红花朵缀满枝条的‘冠军’锦带(Weigela ’Eva Supreme’)总能最先吸引你的视线,争当“花木之冠”。它是上海园林科研所从荷兰引进,并已开始推广应用的锦带花园艺杂交品种,为株从紧密的直立性灌木,株高、冠幅1.2～1.5米,开花比其他锦带花品种稍晚,在上海地区一般5月初始花,可陆续开到5月底至6月上旬,盛花期15～20天,花多3～4朵在一起,呈聚伞花序,顶生或腋生于短枝上,花较大,为亮红色,花冠呈漏斗状钟形,极为繁茂。
