英语教学同其它任何一门学科的教学一样,它包含着教师的“教”和学生的“学”两个方面。在这个过程中,学是主体,教是为学而服务的。换言之,既要发挥学生学习的主体作用,同时又要发挥教师的教学主导作用。只有双方同时起作用,教学过程才能顺利进行,教学才会有一定的质量。从传道、授业、解惑、释疑的角度看,教师的主导作用是主要的,关键性的,起决定作用的。在教学过程中,教师充分发挥主导作用,做到激导有方,启育有法,因人制宜,因材施教,能使教学效果事半功倍,是优化课
