由上海艺术研究所和北京市艺术研究所合作编著的《中国京剧史》全书已于近日由中国戏剧出版社出版。1999年11月18日在首都人民大会堂举行了隆重的首发式。中共中央政治局常委、全国政协主席李瑞环发来贺信。李瑞环在信中说:“京剧是我国戏曲艺术中最具代表性的剧种。京剧诞生一百余年来留下了大量资料亟待整理,人们盼望有一部内容完整,论述翔实的京剧史书问世。你们为弘扬民族优秀文化做了一件大好事。希望大家齐心合力,扎实工作,为振兴京剧做出新的更大
The book “History of Chinese Peking Opera”, co-authored by Shanghai Art Institute and Beijing Institute of the Arts, was recently published by China Theater Press. On November 18, 1999, a grand ceremony was held in the Great Hall of the People in the capital. CPC Central Committee Political Bureau Standing Committee, Li Ruihuan, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee sent a congratulatory letter. In his letter, Li Ruihuan said: “Peking Opera is the most representative drama in the art of opera in China.” Peking Opera was born a hundred years ago, leaving a great deal of information to be sorted out urgently. People look forward to having a full-fledged history story book published. It is a good thing to carry forward the excellent culture of the nation.
