中国科学院物理研究所所设计的卤素计数管已由南京灯泡厂大量生产了。这种优良的国产计数管的性能非常稳定,对于β,γ粒子有很高的计数本领。它的最大的优点是计数管的工作电压比较低,只需要400伏特左右,而旧式的记数管所需的工作电压至少要在1200伏特以上。所以这种计数管的制成,不仅对有关放射性的科学研究和工业技术起着促进作用,而且在一般教学中制作演示用的盖格计数器教具,或安装实验课所用的计数器也因此比较以
Halogen counting tubes designed by Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences have been mass-produced by Nanjing Bulb Plant. This excellent performance of domestic counter tube is very stable, for β, γ particles have a high counting skills. Its biggest advantage is that the working voltage of the counter tube is relatively low, only about 400 volts, while the old type of digital tube requires the working voltage of at least 1200 volts or more.
