我们当中一部分人不能正确地认识传统,出现悲观民族虚无情况,另一部分人要求积极继承传统,可在实践中对中国绘画前景仍然没有突破性。这两种情况的原因在于他们都没有正确地认识传统,对传统的认识仅仅在于技法和程式的表面问题上。本文针对这两种情况首先肯定了传统的价值,进而论说传统中国绘画的核心,否定笔墨论正宗,跳出传统文人画苑囿,为中国绘画的发展注入了新思想。
Some of us can not correctly understand the tradition, pessimistic national conditions appear empty, while others want to actively inherit the tradition. In practice, there is still no breakthrough in the prospect of Chinese painting. The reason for both of these situations is that neither of them correctly understood the tradition, and the traditional understanding was only on the superficial issues of techniques and procedures. This article affirms the traditional values in these two cases. Then it discusses the core of traditional Chinese painting, negates the authenticity of brush and ink, and jumps out of the traditional literati painting circle. It infuses new ideas into the development of Chinese painting.
