精神生活中没有刺激或刺激太多,都不符合精神健康的要求。所以,在生活中乏昧时,人们便寻找刺激,但当刺激过多,或是遇到不良刺激时,又使人难以忍受,导致精神紧张而发生焦虑、愤慨、恐惧、悲伤或其他不良的情绪反应。这时人们便要应用种种方法来尽量摆脱。其方法有:1.转移注意。参加各种文体活动或公益事业,培养各种业务爱好,藉以转移自己对精神创伤的注意力,松弛精神紧张的程度。2.发笑、幽默、自我解嘲。当处于尴尬、难堪的困境时,用不自主的发笑或故意开玩笑或说俏皮话当作自我解嘲,以减轻精神紧张的程度。3.寻求安慰和支持。受到精神刺激后,将心中的感受告诉近亲好友,听取他们的意见,寻找安慰与忠告。4.自我镇静与克制。遇到挫折后,尽量不去考虑并控制自己的情绪反应。每当刺激因素涌上心头时,便主动加以抑制,以保持内心的平静。5.否认。对于超强的精神刺激,例如亲人突然遇难的消息、身患绝症的诊断等予以否
