From September 21 to 23, 2008, hosted by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, the Fourth Congress of Nationalities Law Seminar and Symposium held by Guizhou Ethnic Institute is held in Guiyang. Over 80 representatives attended the conference and received over 40 academic papers.
