中国蒙古史学会成立大会于一九七九年八月五日至十二日在内蒙呼和浩特市召开.来自全国十五个省、市、自治区的科研机构和高等院校的代表一百二十余人参加了大会.其中有老一辈的蒙古史专家,也有少数大学的青年研究生,大部是解放后成长起来的中年蒙古史学者.蒙古族的学者占相当大的比重.大会收到学术论文七十五篇和《蒙古秘史新译简注》、《沙俄侵略蒙古地区简史》等蒙古史专著.论文包括了蒙古史研究的各个方面:从十二、三世纪蒙古的社会性质到第一、二次国内战争时期的内蒙古人民革命党;从对成吉思汗到对策妄阿拉布坦、僧格林沁、嘎达梅林的评价和介绍.还有几篇论文对《蒙古秘史》的原文和作者,对元代
The founding meeting of the Chinese Mongolian Historical Society was held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia from August 5 to August 12, 1979. More than 120 representatives from scientific research institutions and institutions of higher learning in 15 provinces, cities and autonomous regions across the country People participated in the conference, including the older generation of Mongolian history experts and young graduate students from a few universities, most of whom were middle-aged Mongolian historians who grew up after liberation, and Mongolian scholars accounted for a large proportion of the total.
