素有蜂鸟之称的宏碁S3向来是市面上价格比较实惠的超极本机型之一,这在一定程度上可能是由于它采用了传统机械硬盘,而不是较为昂贵的固态硬盘。不过刚刚在台湾发布的S3-392G机型,在这方面进行了一点小突破,自然也会比前面几代产品小贵一点。其全新引入的混合硬盘以及对超极本来说不同寻常的专用英伟达GPU,令其性能得到了增强。之前机型采用的拉丝金属铝设计也发生了变化,这或许是为了避免经常被拿来与苹果的MacBook Air比较;屏幕现在也采用与宏碁S7系列一样独特的白色面板。
