The absorption spectra of the evaporated films of αI-copper phthalocyanine (PCCu), the photoconductive spectra of the sandwich and surface cells, and the Leian index were measured. The shape relationship between the absorption spectrum and the photoconductive spectrum in the PcCu evaporated film depends on the ratio of photogenerated carrier recombination rates in the surface and in the bulk.
