“The Great Wall Underground” covered with landmines During the First World War, landmines were the “secret weapon” that British troops dealt with by German troops. Unlike digging a pit and laying a mine, which is a simple mine warfare, the British must first dig a long tunnel before laying it. When the meandering tunnel formed an underground wall straight below the target of blasting, the soldiers filled the land with huge, powerful mines. One of the most authentic but also digging 9 meters deep, and even the deepest tunnel even 37 meters underground, in fact, is a major project.
