In the past year, health administrative departments at all levels in Henan Province have effectively changed their functions, vigorously carried out medical supervision and law enforcement, severely punished all kinds of illegal and irregular behaviors, and made the province’s medical order obviously improved, thus protecting the vital interests of the people. The Henan Provincial Department of Health strives to change its functions in the institutional reform. In line with the guiding ideology of “government leadership, strict management in accordance with the law, and strengthening law enforcement and comprehensive rectification,” the province’s health departments are required to change “do hospitals” to “government hospitals” and strengthen medical supervision.
