一出好的戏曲现代戏,应该具备戏曲特色和时代特色,二者不可或缺。中国戏曲历史长,底子厚,熔歌、舞、剧于一炉,有丰富的艺术表现力。这是它的优势。另一方面,它毕竟形成于封建社会,它的艺术表现手段(无论唱、做、念、舞)都是为表现古代生活、塑造古代人物服务的,表现现代生活就有它的局限性。因此,我们通常所说的戏曲现代戏的戏曲化与现代化,实际上是相互制约而又相互依存的一对矛盾。最近,江苏省淮剧团根据郑彦英小说《太阳》改编、演出的《奇婚记》,在戏曲化与现代化的结合上,为我们提供了一个较为成功的范例。“奇婚”出现在海滨一个偏僻的农村。十年内乱
