中国机械工程学会第四次全国秘书长工作会议于1984年1月13日至19日在北京召开。出席会议的代表共170余人,其中常务理事和在京理事31人,各专业学会和各省、市、自治区机械工程学会秘书长及工作人员91人。会议由沈鸿理事长主持,在开幕式上沈鸿理事长作了题为“握掌辨证唯物主义,促进科学技术进步”的报告,陶亨咸副理事长做了“宏伟目标与技术进步”的报告,许绍高秘书长传达了中国科协1983年工作会议的精神和主要文件,并(?)了中国机械工程学会1983年工作总结和1984年工作安排及讲一步改革我会工作的汇报,会议期
The 4th National Secretary General Working Meeting of China Mechanical Engineering Society was held in Beijing from January 13 to January 19, 1984. A total of 170 representatives attended the conference, including 31 standing directors and directors in Beijing, 91 professional societies, and secretary-generals and staff of Mechanical Engineering Society of all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. At the opening ceremony, Chairman Shen Hong made a speech entitled “Grasping dialectical materialism and promoting scientific and technological progress”. Vice Chairman Tao Henglian made a report entitled “Magnificent Objectives and Technological Progress” , Secretary-General Xu Shaogao conveyed the spirit and major documents of the 1983 Working Conference of China Association for Science and Technology (CASC), and reported (?) The summary of the work of China Mechanical Engineering Society in 1983 and the 1984 work arrangement and the step-by-step reform in which I will work.
