据联合国粮农组织预测,到2000年,全世界对海水鱼和其它海产品的总需求量将增加到11400万吨,而那时海洋捕捞总产量估计只能达到9500万吨,尚短缺1900万吨.短缺部分只能依靠海水养殖来填补.因此海水养殖对解决世界海产品的供需矛盾有着举足轻重的地位。本文简要叙述国外海水养殖的现状及其发展趋势。
The UN Food and Agriculture Organization predicts that by the year 2000, the world’s total demand for marine and other marine products will increase to 114 million tons, while total marine harvest production was estimated at 95 million tons and a shortage of 19 million tons The shortage can only be filled by mariculture, so mariculture plays a decisive role in solving the contradiction between supply and demand for world’s seafood. This article briefly describes the status of marine mariculture in foreign countries and its development trend.
