南宁,一座地处西部少数民族地区的欠发达城市,坚持依靠改革立市,依靠改革富民,走出了一条又快又好、持续和谐的发展道路。1991年,南宁市进入“中国城市综合实力50强”之列;1994年提前6年实现GDP比1980年翻两番目标;2003年,南宁市在“中国城市综合实力50强”中排名跃升至第30位。10年来,南宁市国内生产总值以年均两位数递增,增速名列西部省会城市前列,是广西经济发展速度最快、经济质量最好的城市。
Nanning, a less developed city located in the minority areas in the west, insists on relying on reform and establishing the market and relying on reform and enriching the people, has taken a fast, sound and consistent path of development. In 1991, Nanning entered the list of “Top 50 Cities in China Comprehensive Strength”; in 1994, the goal of quadrupling GDP by 6 years ahead of 1980 was reached; in 2003, Nanning City jumped to the rank of “Top 50 Cities in China’s Overall Strength” 30th place. In the past 10 years, Nanning’s GDP has double-digit average annual growth rate, ranking the forefront of the capital cities in the western part of the country. It is the city with the fastest economic growth and the best economic quality in Guangxi.
